On Feb. 8, members of the Twipes team visited Mayor Byron Brown’s office for the City of Buffalo’s toiletry donation drive, benefitting local code blue shelters and Buffalo City Mission.

Twipes donated 200 packs of our toilet-friendly wet wipes to the drive to support those in need.

CEO Alborz Bozorgi dropped the packs off at the mayor’s office Thursday afternoon. While there, they met with Sameria Mbili from AmeriCorps and Malika Lee, who organized the drive, as well as Deputy Mayors Callie Johnson, PhD., and Rashied McDuffie, Esq.

The donation is the latest in Twipes’ charitable efforts. Our company also works with The Teacher’s Desk each year to help provide toilet-friendly wet wipes to classrooms of student in need. This year, Twipes will be donating 12,000 packs to the cause.

In addition to donations, Twipes also gives back through its partnerships.

The organization We Do Ethical plants a tree in Africa for every five packs of Twipes purchased. Big Blue Ocean Cleanup is dedicated to keeping waterways clean and educating people on ocean pollution.

Most recently, Twipes paired with There She Rows, a women’s rowing team, which rowed across the Atlantic Ocean. We sent the team 83 packs of Twipes for their journey so they’d have a sustainable option for use on the boat.
