Twipes teamed up with the Buffalo Bisons for the Herd’s July 28 game against the Syracuse Mets. The partnership presented a dynamic showcase of sports and community, with the Twipes team demonstrating the product’s sustainability.

The partnership came together at Sahlen Field, renowned for its lively and family-friendly atmosphere. The anticipation for the game was palpable as fans poured into the stands.

Engaging fans with eco-friendly solutions

At our table, the Twipes team engaged directly with fans, distributing sachets of our truly flushable, truly biodegradable wet wipes, to highlight the convenience and eco-friendliness of the product. With the typical ballpark fare — messy hotdogs and heaps of ice cream — Twipes quickly became a hit. Fans used Twipes to clean up sticky fingers, wipe messy faces and keep their seats and surfaces tidy. The cool, practical and environmentally friendly solution was appreciated by all on a hot summer day.

The event was further enhanced by a “Kids Day” promotion, adding to the day’s excitement. Children enjoyed a variety of activities, including a ‘kids run the bases’ event after the game, while Twipes hosted interactive activities at our booth, educating kids and families about sustainability in a fun and engaging manner.

On the field, the Bisons delivered a thrilling performance with a 9-3 victory over the Mets. Nathan Lukes impressed with a 4-for-4 at-bat performance, and Zach Thompson’s pitching was exceptional, striking out seven batters over six innings. The crowd’s enthusiasm complemented the electric atmosphere, making the partnership that much more special for Twipes at our first Bisons game.

One of the many off-the-field highlights of the day was seeing Buster Bison, the team’s mascot, getting in on the action. In a lighthearted moment, Buster used a Twipe to clean up, humorously demonstrating how our product is handy for everyone — whether you’re a fan or a mascot!

Positive reception and sustainable mission

The positive feedback from fans underscored Twipes’ role in enhancing the crowd’s gameday experience, as the complementary sachets of wet wipes made a noticeable difference. The Twipes team also shared insights into the company’s mission, emphasizing our 100% flushable, biodegradable materials and commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of traditional wet wipes. The enthusiastic response reinforced our dedication to making a difference.

In addition to the free sachet distribution at the table in the Sahlen Field concourse, Twipes also gave out free packs of our truly flushable and biodegradable wet wipes to those sitting in a lucky row at the game.
